In a devastating incident on Diwali in Eluru district, Andhra Pradesh, a man was killed, and several others were injured when a sack of handmade firecrackers exploded while being transported on a scooter. The explosion occurred after the scooter hit a pothole, causing the sack of ‘onion bombs’ to shift and detonate.

The victim, identified as Sudhakar, was riding pillion and suffered severe burns from the blast, ultimately leading to his death. Alongside him, five others—Tabelu Sai, Suvara Shashi, K Srinivasa Rao, SK Khadar, Suresh, and Satish—were injured in the explosion.
