A container truck drivertragically lost his life after his vehicle caught fire when it collided with a road divider at Laxmannath area on Sunday, police reported.
Jaleswar police and fire personnel quickly arrived at the scene and worked for over an hour to extinguish the flames. Unfortunately, the driver was burned beyond recognition, and his identity remains unknown, according to a police official.
The accident occurred at the Laxmannath toll plaza on National Highway-60 when the truck crashed into the road divider, causing the vehicle to suddenly ignite. The fire quickly consumed the truck, leaving the driver trapped inside.
The accident caused temporary disruption to traffic in the area as emergency services responded.
