New Delhi: US President Donald J Trump, hours before leaving for India, posted an edited clipping from “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” to his Twitter. What’s so unique about the video? The film protagonist’s face has been replaced by that of the POTUS.
The video was first tweeted by Twitter user Sol (@Solmemes1). The caption of the tweet read, “To celebrate Trump’s visit to India I wanted to make a video to show how in my warped mind it will go…… USA and India united!” This was then retweeted by the President of the United States with the caption, “Look so forward to being with my great friends in INDIA!”

The clipping is a mashup of various scenes from Baahubali 2, is accompanied by the song “Jiyo Re Baahubali” and also features The President’s wife, first lady Melania Trump, his daughter, Ivanka Trump, his son Donald Trump Jr. and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The video ends with the message “USA and India United!” and went viral within two hours of it being posted.
Donald Trump has been used in videos before. Back in 2017, a clipping from a wrestling match was posted by Trump on Twitter, in which World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) owner Vince McMahon’s head was replaced by CNN’s logo. The video showed the real Trump body-slamming and beating up CNN, a news media the President and his followers consider “Fraud News CNN”.
