Andhra Pradesh: A three-month pregnant cow was allegedly raped by unidentified men. Buchicharaju, owner of the cow found the animal tied to a tree with bleeding genitals.
This sickening incident happened in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.
After getting a confirmation from a local veterinarian that the cow has been sexually assaulted, Buchicharaju lodged a police complaint against unidentified people.
Local residents gathered in huge numbers at the police station and demanded arrest of the accused. The protesters calmed down only after police assured them of immidiate action.
“Dairy farmer Nama Buchicharaju’s cow had been missing since Sunday in the district’s Pithapuram Mandalam area. After a hunt, the animal was found tied to a nearby tree with bleeding genitals,” a police officer said.
Earlier this year, a pregnant goat was allegedly sodomised by eight men in Haryana’s Mewat after which the animal died.
