Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reaffirmed his commitment to intensify actions against mafias and criminals across the state.

During a recent meeting with officials, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the government’s duty to safeguard the interests of the underprivileged and marginalized. He vowed to crack down on all forms of mafias, including land mafias, asserting, “Action will be taken against them.”

In his first law and order review meeting since the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed officials to enhance communication, coordination, and public trust. He stressed the prompt initiation of “Janta Darshan” programs at district, range, and zone levels. Upholding a zero-tolerance policy against corruption, he directed stringent measures against unethical practices from the state secretariat to the block level.

Through video conferencing, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assessed the law and order situation with police commissioners, divisional commissioners, district magistrates, and superintendents of police from all districts.

Addressing concerns over VIP culture, he mandated strict actions against the use of hooters and pressure horns in both government and private vehicles. Ahead of upcoming festivities, he underscored the importance of maintaining peace and harmony, respecting all faiths while cautioning against promoting new traditions.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath outlined preparations for forthcoming events like Ganga Dussehra, Bakrid, and the International Yoga Day, urging round-the-clock readiness from government and administrative bodies.

Regarding Bakrid, he directed that ‘namaaz’ should not be conducted on roads and specified guidelines for animal sacrifices, ensuring they are performed at designated locations without causing any disruption or hurting sentiments.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath concluded by instructing officials to prevent any incidents that could offend religious sentiments in the state.
