Mumbai: Actress and Mumbai North Lok Sabha candidate from the Congress party Urmila Matondkar has ridiculed the statements made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to one of the national media channels on his Balakot airstrikes’ strategy.

On Monday, May 14 evening, she tweeted, “Thank God for the clear sky and no clouds so that my pet Romeo’s ears can get the clear RADAR signals.”

Veteran Congress leader Kapil Sibal too had tweeted, “Balakot secret revealed by Modi: “I thought there are clouds, we can escape radar. Ok, go ahead, chal pade “Gave clarity to experts confused about launching in bad weather What a leader, what a mind! We now know that: No radar can penetrate Modi’s clouded mind!”

Also the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray taunted PM Modi. He said that the United Nations has announced that the countries can now go for war during monsoons only.

Earlier, PM Modi in an interview to a national electronic media had said that he knew that the clouds would help the Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jets elude the Pakistani radar. He had claimed that the experts had advised a change of date for Balakot airstrike due to weather forecast predicting rains, but at his gut feeling had told him that this was a better time to conduct the strikes.
