Expressing discontent over the exclusion of certain political parties from the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Minister for Public Works Satish Jarkiholi voiced his concerns, labeling the entire event as a one-man show.
Addressing reporters on Thursday, the minister emphasized the importance of inviting all political parties to the Ram Mandir inauguration. He pointed out the absence of invitations to chief ministers from parties other than Uttar Pradesh. Jarkiholi remarked, “Except for the Uttar Pradesh chief minister, no other chief minister has been invited.”
Despite his disapproval of the exclusion, the minister declared that he would decline the invitation if extended. He stated his preference for visiting the Ram Mandir on a different occasion, away from the current crowd.
In response to the BJP’s protest advocating for the release of a karsevak, Jarkiholi asserted that opposition parties should channel their efforts into addressing the public’s concerns. He defended the arrest, stating, “The police apprehended him based on previous cases, and there is no need to create confusion.”
