Vanjangi, a hidden gem nestled in the Eastern Ghats of Andhra Pradesh, offers a peaceful retreat with spectacular views that attract nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. The small hill station, once relatively unknown, has gained popularity in recent years, thanks to trekkers and nature enthusiasts sharing their experiences on social media.

For those eager to catch a magical sunrise, the best time to visit is during the winter months, from December to January. Between 5:00 and 6:00 am, the sunrise transforms the sky into a surreal sight as clouds part to reveal the sun’s first rays. With temperatures dropping to a pleasant 15°C during winter, visitors can comfortably enjoy the stunning view outdoors.

Despite its newfound popularity, Vanjangi remains untouched by mass tourism, preserving its natural beauty. In an effort to make the area more accessible, the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) has launched a project to build a blacktop road to Vanjangi. The project, which will cost Rs 2.5 crore, aims to improve the existing narrow, pothole-ridden road, ensuring safer and more convenient access to the viewpoint. Additionally, railings will be installed at the viewpoint to enhance visitor safety.
