A veteran cricket umpire tragically lost his life after being attacked by a swarm of bees during a local cricket match in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao district, officials said.

Witnesses said he began to feel unwell shortly after the attack and collapsed on the ground. Fellow officials and players rushed to his aid and arranged immediate medical assistance.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors attempted emergency treatment. However, he was declared dead.
