A shocking video from UP Jhansi is making rounds on social media after a cop stopped an autorickshaw carrying 14 schoolchildren. The incident, which took place at the BKD intersection, has sparked a debate over safety and traffic regulations.
The police officer, who was conducting a routine traffic check, was taken aback when he discovered that the auto was packed with schoolchildren. At least three children were seated in the front, next to the driver, while 11 others were crammed into the back of the three-wheeler.
As the officer instructed the children to get out of the vehicle, a passerby counted the number of students and recorded the moment on video. The footage quickly went viral on social media, prompting widespread reactions from netizens.
In response to the incident, the local police issued a challan (fine) against the driver for overloading the vehicle, underscoring the importance of following safety norms for transporting children.
This video serves as a reminder of the need for proper transportation regulations, especially when it comes to ensuring the safety of students traveling to and from school.
