A shocking viral video captured a man assaulting a woman within the Omaxe Palm Green Society in Noida’s Dari area. In the footage, the man, identified as Surya Bhadana, is seen forcefully gripping the woman’s hair and slapping her across the face while verbally abusing her. Despite attempts from bystanders to intervene and free her, he continued to hold onto her.
As the video circulated on social media, it sparked outrage among viewers. Bhadana’s clothes appeared torn, and he was heard complaining about something the woman said before pushing her aside and finally releasing her. The incident prompted a swift response from the Noida Police, who arrested him under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
The police stated, “Upon recognizing the viral video of a man assaulting his female acquaintance in Omaxe Palm Green Society, the Dadri Police Station took immediate action, apprehending the accused. Both individuals were previously acquainted and had studied together in college.” The exact reason for the assault remains unclear.
The distressing video has drawn thousands of views and countless comments, many expressing disbelief at the increasing violence in Noida. One user lamented, “Such incidents frequently arise from Noida apartments and housing societies. The large buildings of Noida are filled with uncivilized individuals. Are there no civilized people left in Noida?”
