Delhi: On Saturday, the Delhi High Court declared that “we will hang that man” if any official from the central, state or local government obstructs the picking up or supply of oxygen.
During the hearing of a plea by Maharaja Agrasen Hospital about a shortage of oxygen for critically ill COVID patients, a bench of Justices Vipin Sanghi and Rekha Palli made the observation.
The bench said, “We will not spare anyone,” if any obstruction is made for the supply of oxygen.
The Delhi government also ordered to notify the Centre about certain local government officials so that action could be taken against them.
