WhatsApp has launched the WhatsApp Bharat Yatra, a mobile bus initiative designed to provide on-ground, in-person training to small businesses across India. This tour aims to help businesses enhance their digital presence using WhatsApp’s capabilities, contributing to their growth and success.

The journey begins in Delhi-NCR, with the bus visiting high-traffic markets such as Laxmi Nagar, Rajouri Garden, Nehru Place, Malviya Nagar, and Safdarjung Enclave. Additionally, key areas in Gurgaon and Noida, including Sapphire Mall and Atta Market, will be covered. After Delhi-NCR, the bus will continue its nationwide tour to cities like Agra, Lucknow, Kanpur, Indore, Ahmedabad, Surat, Nashik, and Mysore.

The WhatsApp Bharat Yatra offers small and medium businesses (SMBs) hands-on training, personalized demos, and expert guidance on utilizing the WhatsApp Business app. Business owners will learn to set up a Business Profile, create catalogs, build ads, and leverage key app features to connect with customers and grow their businesses.

Ravi Garg, Director of Business Messaging at Meta India, emphasized that small businesses are vital to India’s economy. He highlighted how the initiative will help unlock their digital potential, empowering them to succeed in the digital economy. WhatsApp has also introduced updates like Meta Verified and AI integration to further assist SMBs in improving customer engagement.

The WhatsApp Bharat Yatra is part of WhatsApp’s ongoing efforts to support small businesses and drive India’s digital transformation.
