New Delhi: After the Congress party lost miserably in the Delhi Assembly elections by not winning even one out of 70 seats on Tuesday, February 11, party leader and candidate from the Chandni Chowk Assembly constituency, who lost to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Pralad Singh Sawhney, said that she will accept defeat and warned the party to wake up.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote, “I accept the results, but not defeat. This election was fought based on Hindu-Muslim vote polarization. It is time for the Congress party to fight the elections with new faces. Delhi people have to be prepared for a long struggle. If we fight today, we will win tomorrow #DelhiElection2020 #Delhi.”
