In a disturbing incident at 12th Avenue Society, Gaur City 2, an eight-year-old boy faced an alleged attack from a woman after he objected to her unleashed dog entering the elevator. The entire episode, which unfolded on February 19, 2025, was recorded on CCTV and soon spread across social media.

The viral footage reveals the frightened child, dressed in a blue outfit, desperately pleading with the woman to keep her dog outside the lift. Instead of respecting his concerns, she forcibly pulled him out and purportedly struck him multiple times. This distressing scene ignited outrage among residents, prompting protests outside the complex, with many condemning her behavior.

Reacting swiftly, Greater Noida Police took the woman into custody and initiated legal proceedings. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Shakti Mohan Awasthi confirmed that a case had been registered, assuring that the investigation was ongoing.

Society members disclosed that the woman had engaged in previous confrontations regarding pets. A resident described the act as “appalling,” stating that the child’s genuine fear was completely disregarded. Another member called it “unacceptable,” emphasizing that such behavior should never be tolerated.
