New Delhi: In response to the Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s criticism over the UP government’s response to protest against Citizenship Amendment Act, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a warning to the former.

In a Hindi tweet under hashtag #BhagwameinLokKalyan (public welfare in saffron), Yogi Adityanath said that anybody obstructing a Sayasi’s efforts for public welfare will be punished. He went on to say that those who have inherited politics and have been practicing appeasement policy can never understand the true meaning of service.

It was on Monday that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra attacked Yogi Adityanath over the police crackdown on protesters and also the warning of seizure and auction of the properties of the protesters.

The CM had said that he would avenge the destruction of properties and countering this Ms Vadra had said that Adityanath dons a saffron robe, which is a symbol of religious and spiritual heritage of this country.

“There is no place for revenge and violence in the soul of this nation,” she had retorted.

Responding to the same, Yogi put up a tweet saying that anybody obstructing him from delivering his service will be punished.
