A heartbreaking incident occurred on Friday at CMR Engineering College, located in the outskirts of Hyderabad, where a 21-year-old student collapsed and died while playing cricket.

The deceased, Vinay Kumar, hailed from Khammam district and was in his final year of engineering. He was actively participating in an inter-college cricket tournament being conducted on campus when the tragedy unfolded.

While fielding during the match, Vinay unexpectedly dropped to the ground. Witnesses rushed to help, and college authorities, along with fellow students, immediately transported him to a nearby medical facility. Sadly, doctors declared him brought dead.

Preliminary assessments by medical staff suggest that he may have suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. His family, devastated by the news, has not expressed any doubts regarding the nature of his passing.
