A 25-year-old woman reportedly took her own life by jumping from the 23rd floor of a residential building in Kannamwar Nagar, Vikhroli, late Monday night, police confirmed on Tuesday, according to PTI. The deceased, identified as Harshada Tandolkar, was said to be struggling with mental health problems, though the exact cause behind her tragic decision remains unclear.

Tandolkar leapt from the high-rise and landed on a motorcycle parked below, resulting in her body splitting into two, an official revealed.

Residents nearby immediately alerted the authorities upon witnessing the incident. Police have registered an accidental death report (ADR), and a detailed investigation is currently ongoing to determine all circumstances related to the case.
