A shocking video showing a YouTuber slapping an unsuspecting passenger aboard a moving train has gone viral, leading to widespread outrage and legal consequences for the content creator. The incident, which occurred at a railway station in Bihar, shows the YouTuber, identified as Ritesh Kumar, reaching out from the platform and striking a seated commuter while his friend filmed the act.
The YouTuber later admitted that the slap was part of a stunt aimed at gaining social media attention. “I did this to increase my followers on Instagram,” Kumar confessed in a video apology after his arrest. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) tracked down the YouTuber quickly after the video spread online. They arrested him and emphasized that passenger safety would never be compromised.
The RPF posted a statement on X, declaring, “No compromise on passenger security!! Reckless acts will not be tolerated,” underscoring the seriousness of such actions. Kumar was also required to issue a public apology where he expressed regret for the stunt, stating it was a mistake that he would not repeat.
Despite seeking online fame, the YouTuber’s stunt resulted in a legal case, highlighting the dangers of seeking clout at the expense of others’ safety.
