India’s Op Sindoor Goes Global: MPs Begin Anti-Terror Outreach
India has initiated a robust global diplomatic campaign to highlight the objectives and outcomes of Operation Sindoor, aiming to expose Pakistan’s alleged complicity in terrorism. The effort also seeks to ensure that the world hears India’s side of the story.
Two out of seven parliamentary delegations embarked on international visits today. The first team, led by JDU MP Sanjay Jha, is scheduled to visit Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, and Singapore. The group includes leaders from various parties like Aparajita Sarangi (BJP), Abhishek Banerjee (TMC), Salman Khurshid (Congress), and others.
Simultaneously, another delegation headed by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde will travel to the UAE, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. Members include Bansuri Swaraj, Atul Garg, Sasmit Patra, and ex-diplomat Sujan Chinoy.
CPM’s John Brittas, en route to Japan, confirmed they would visit South Korea as well, returning on June 3.
Speaking to NDTV, Aparajita Sarangi emphasized the unified message: “India condemns all forms of terrorism. We do not differentiate between individual terrorists and state-sponsored entities. The safety of 140 crore Indians is our top priority.”
BJP MP Brij Lal added, “From the Parliament attack to 26/11, our history reflects Pakistan’s terror trail. Surgical and air strikes were our warnings. Now, Pakistan is crumbling under internal pressure.”
Delegations will visit 33 nations and the EU, engaging with global leaders and diaspora groups to reinforce India’s stance and counter Pakistan’s narrative.
