BK Ganesh Rai believes in not losing hope come what may

Dubai: The 25th episode of NewsKarnataka.com’s talk show ‘Sunday Celebrity’ was held on Sunday June 19 at 8.00 pm IST.

The guest for the evening was B. K. Ganesh Rai, Creative Art Director, Dubai. Floyd Kiran was the host for the event.

The programme was premiered on NewsKarnataka.com’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

In the beginning of the show Floyd Kiran introduced the guest and welcomed him.

B. K. Ganesh Rai sharing his childhood said, “My parents used to take us to the Dasara festival in Madikeri. The painting, art and architecture there can also be called my inspiration towards creativity along with the encouragement by my parents.”

“The carpentry training provided in class IX helped me in moulding a national sculpture, The air scouting training which I obtained by HEL is life cherishing,” he expressed.

He also shared his experience on being a first person to obtain a golden visa from Dubai.

In the ‘Celebrity Favourites’ segment he shared, “My parents believed that, calling one with their name will enhance an individual with grace and prosperity and so they didn’t shorten my name whereas, my friends used to call me ‘Minchulli.’

“Getting married to my wife is one of the happiest moment. My parents had advised me ‘not to lose hope whatever may happen’. The time I lost my parents shook me from within but recalling their advise I didn’t lose hope completely,” he expressed.

“I have a friend who suggested, If you smile you will live longer whereas anger will affect your health and so I always maintain calm.”

Rai advised, “Man is a social animal and so we should live by sharing love and trust.” He also asked the audience to inculcate the habit of watching fruitful television and Radio programmes and enhance knowledge.
