Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has urged the people of the state to vote for the “Lakkundi: Cradle of Stone Craft” poster, which represented Karnataka at the 76th Republic Day parade in Delhi. The Union Ministry of Defence has opened online voting for the posters of participating states, and Siddaramaiah called on Kannadigas to support their state’s float, which has received widespread appreciation.

Taking to ‘X’, the CM emphasized that the voting can be done online, via email, or SMS. He encouraged the public to cast their votes before the deadline of midnight on January 28. Siddaramaiah also shared the voting instructions, which include sending an SMS with the format MYGOVPOLL 357037, 12 to the number 7738299899 from a registered mobile.

The float showcased the artistic temples of Lakkundi, located in Gadag district, known as the “Cradle of Stone Craft” for its remarkable stone architecture. Lakkundi, situated about 70 km from Hubballi, is famous for its stunning stone-carved temples.
