BCCI UAE Chapter organises webinar on ‘Digital Revolution on Business and Entrepreneurship’

Dubai: Bearys Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), UAE held a successful webinar on September 10 on ‘Digital Revolution on Business and Entrepreneurship’.

BCCI UAE Chapter President S. M. Basheer, in his welcome and opening remarks, introduced the team of the UAE Chapter, sbd explained the BCCI’s objectives.

Chief Guest Rasheed Hazari, Chief Technologist at the Economic Development Division of the Government of Dubai highlighted the new wave of digital media in the industry and said that by the year 2030, more sophisticated technological advances will result in the loss of employment of over 80 crores.

Robotics technology has already begun in many countries, including Dubai. These will include Sharing Economies like e-Commerce, Wallet, Mobile Pay, Digital Currency like BitCoin,  OTT Platforms like Ola & Uber, e-Gaming, Netflix, App Development, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Data Economy, Artificial Intelligence, Drones, Nanotechnology, 3D Painting, are some of the areas that are likely to grow in the future, he said.

He suggested the young entrepreneurs to be aware of companies developing in the digital realm. He advised to incorporate upgradation into the industry according to the changing trend, analyse customers’ expectations from a customer perspective, and with the help of new designs and digitisation.

More than 225 enthusiasts from over 16 countries participated in the webinar.

BCCI UAE Chapter Vice President Hidayat Adoor delivered the vote of thanks. General Secretary Anwar Hussain hosted the programme.
