Dubai: NRIs of State are holding a campaign ‘NRI Appeal Day’, on Sunday January 2.
It includes a Twitter campaign through which the NRI Kannadigas will reach the State Government with an appeal putting forward their problems and demands, which has not been fulfilled so far by the Government.
ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ನೆರೆಯ ಕೇರಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ತುಲನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ನಮಗೆ ಇಚ್ಚೆಯಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೂ ಕೇರಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀಡುವ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೆ,

The pioneer of the campaign Hidayath Adoor tweeted that, “We don’t want to compare our Government with neighbouring state Kerala but reality is that Kerala is treating NRIs better than Karnataka. Though we do not want to compare this difference shows the negligence of our State Towards us NRI Kannadigas. We request the Government to fulfill our demand at the earliest.”
