Dubai/Muscat/Udupi/Byndoor: Dubai Kannadigaru in collaboration with all GCC Indian Social Clubs Karnataka wing organized a singing competition Sangeetha Sowrabha Gulf GCC Gaana Kogile 2021 for all children from 8 years to 18 yrs of age from September 2021. Firstly audition round was where they received more than 100 contestants and was filtered to 58 for qualifying rounds from all GCC countries UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain. Roshni Ramananda Prabhu won the consolation prize in the Junior category. The event went on successfully and all 6 rounds of qualifying, quarter-final and semi-final virtually elimination rounds and 6 participants were finalized in each category junior and senior for the final round which they planned to conduct in Nov 2021 but postponed due to COVID 19. There on again postponed due to preboard and Board exams of senior category participants.
On 28.5.2022, Gulf Gaana Kogile 2021 organised a LIVE event in The Tower Plaza Hotel Dubai from 5 pm-10 pm in the presence of Judges: Chief judge Manasa Holla, Music Director and Playback singer and Chinmay Atreyas, Well known playback singer in Kannada filmdom and Harish Sherigar, Businessman Dubai and film producer.
5 participants from Oman; 2 in the Junior category and 3 in the Senior category were the top 6 finalists. It is a proud moment for GSBs as 2 contestants were finalists 1 in the junior category Roshni Ramananda Prabhu and 1 in Senior Category, Aarush Deepak Rao. Mstr.Arush Deepak Rao grabbed as the Winner of senior Gulf GCC Gaana Kogile 2021 and Roshni Ramananda Prabhu won the consolation prize in the Junior category. We are very proud of them as Youth of GSBs and also their proud parents Prabhu family Naikanakatte, Prabhukeri, Byndoor and Rao Family from Karkala. We wish them all success in all their future endeavours as they are our GSB GeNext Stars of Gulf GCC and Global GSB community.
