The city of Mangaluru is gearing up to host the 5th edition of Mangaluru Technovanza on 24 September 2025, an event positioned as a key platform for innovation and entrepreneurship in coastal Karnataka. Organised under the Beyond Bengaluru initiative by the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), the summit aims to highlight Mangaluru’s growing status as a “Silicon Beach of India”.
Participation at scale
This year’s edition will bring together a diverse group of participants, reflecting the rising interest in the region’s tech ecosystem. Over 70 start-ups are expected to showcase innovative products and services, while 60 Global Capability Centres (GCCs)—representing global corporations’ technology and research arms—will be present to explore collaboration opportunities. In addition, nearly 20 investors will attend, creating an opportunity for promising ventures to secure mentorship and funding.
Theme and focus areas
The theme for this year’s summit is “Silicon Beach of India”, a phrase that positions Mangaluru as a new-age technology and innovation hub on the west coast.
