Mangaluru: A large team of nearly 450 advocates from Bengaluru and Hassan visited the Dharmasthala temple on Sunday to extend their support to the temple and its administration. The delegation, travelling in 90 cars, met Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade and assured their commitment to upholding truth, dharma, and justice.

Delegation pledges to counter false propaganda

The visiting team was led by Narayana Swamy, Ramesh Gowda, and others from Bengaluru, along with Moganna Gowda from the Hassan Bar Association. They assured the temple administration that the legal community would stand firmly with Dharmadhikari Heggade in safeguarding the institution’s integrity and values.

Heggade highlights transparency and service

Dharmadhikari Heggade thanked the delegation for their solidarity and reaffirmed the temple’s long-standing commitment to service and transparency.

“All activities in Dharmasthala are conducted with openness. For over eight centuries, we have offered annadana (food), vidyadana (education), aushadadhana (medicine), and abhayadana (protection) without discrimination of caste or religion. All transactions, donations, and charitable works are carried out through the temple trust with utmost transparency,” he said.

Conclusion

The visit by the advocates underscored widespread support for Dharmasthala temple and its administration. With legal professionals pledging to counter misinformation, the temple’s commitment to its centuries-old tradition of service and openness remains firmly reinforced.
