Bagalkot, Karnataka: In an inspiring show of unconditional love and encouragement, the parents of Abhishek Cholachagudda, a Class 10 student who failed all six subjects in his board exams, chose to celebrate rather than criticize. Scoring just 200 out of 600 marks—roughly 32%—Abhishek faced taunts from peers, but at home, he was met with cake and compassion.

A student of Basaveshwar English Medium School in Bagalkot, Abhishek’s failure did not dampen his family’s belief in him. Rejecting societal pressure and exam-centric stigma, his parents organized a small celebration to lift his spirits. “You may have failed in exams, but not in life. You can always try again and succeed,” they told their son.

This rare gesture turned a moment of academic disappointment into a life lesson in resilience and hope. Abhishek, visibly moved, said, “Even though I failed, my family encouraged me. I will again write the exam, pass, and succeed in life.”

In a society where academic performance often defines a student’s worth, this family’s perspective stands as a heartwarming reminder that failure is just a stepping stone—not the final destination.
