Jamkhandi (Bagalkot), June 27 — A sorrowful scene unfolded at a high school in Karnataka’s Bagalkot district when a teacher suddenly collapsed while instructing students, later confirmed to have died of a heart attack.
The educator, Gurupad Hippargi, 49, was delivering a lesson at a government high school in Jamkhandi when he unexpectedly lost consciousness in the classroom. Startled students and staff rushed to his aid and immediately transported him to the nearest medical facility.
Upon arrival at the hospital, doctors pronounced him dead. Medical personnel stated that he had suffered a cardiac arrest, with no time for resuscitation.
According to sources, Hippargi had shown no warning signs of illness earlier that day. His sudden demise has left fellow teachers, students, and community members deeply shaken.
