BJP Raitha Morcha Protests Against Cow Mutilation Incident in Ballari
Ballari: Activists from the BJP District Raitha Morcha staged a protest at Gadigi Channappa Circle on Wednesday, condemning the recent gruesome act of severing cow udders in Bengaluru’s Chamarajpet. Their demonstration included smearing cow dung and sprinkling cow urine on the portrait of Chamarajpet MLA and Ballari district minister BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan, whom they held indirectly responsible for the incident.
District Raitha Morcha president Ganapal Ainath Reddy addressed the protesters, expressing outrage over the mutilation of three cows in the Chamarajpet assembly constituency. Calling cows “Kamadhenu” — sacred providers in Indian culture — he described the attacks as inhumane and reprehensible.
Reddy also criticized Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan as a “failed district minister” and accused him of ignoring the concerns of the Hindu community. He stressed that the act of harming defenceless animals could not be dismissed as the work of a few individuals and demanded that all those responsible for the incident be held accountable.
The protesters voiced their broader dissatisfaction with the state government, highlighting what they perceive as growing injustices. The event served as a platform to call for stricter measures to protect animals and to ensure justice for such incidents.
