A gang of over 10 criminals led by Market Raja barged into a house in Bapuji Nagar, Ballari, on January 31, attacking Srinivas D’s family with iron rods, knives, wooden logs, and chilli powder. The attack was allegedly in retaliation to a police complaint filed by Srinivas after Raja’s gang assaulted his 14-year-old relative.
The gang broke down the door despite Srinivas attempting to block it and injured several family members, including his aged mother Gowramma. His wife Priyanka and mother-in-law Kamakshi pleaded for protection, stating they feared for their lives.
Videos of the attack have surfaced on social media, and Brucepet police are searching for Raja, Nandish, Mahesh, Suri, Hale Kote Raja, Chinna, and others. Locals demand immediate arrests to restore safety.
