In an eerie twist of fate, Kannada film star Darshan, currently imprisoned in Karnataka’s Bellary Jail, is reportedly facing terrifying supernatural experiences. Prisoners have been awakened by his chilling screams, echoing through the jail between 3 and 4 AM every morning. Darshan, who was transferred from Bangalore Central Jail following allegations of misconduct, has been placed in solitary confinement, where his mental state has worsened.
The actor was arrested for the alleged murder of his fan, Renukaswamy, and since his transfer, has been confined to the Anda Cell, designed for solitary imprisonment. Fellow prisoners claim Darshan’s nightly screams sound like desperate pleas for mercy, adding to the unsettling atmosphere within the jail.
According to his family, Darshan has been tormented by recurring nightmares in which Renukaswamy appears. His wife, Vijayalakshmi, has reportedly sought spiritual remedies, performing tantric rituals and special prayers to rid Darshan of the “evil spirit” that she believes haunts him. Meanwhile, his legal team is preparing to request his transfer back to Bangalore Jail and file for bail.
The jail administration remains skeptical, viewing Darshan’s behavior as a possible ploy to escape solitary confinement. However, the haunting cries heard by other prisoners have added to the mystery surrounding the actor’s ordeal.
