
Man Killed in Suspected Naxalite IED Blast in Bijapur

Bhadradri-Kothagudem: A 35-year-old man, Manaru Akali, lost his life in an IED blast in the forested region near Koshalnar in Barsoor mandal, Bijapur district.
According to police reports, Manaru had ventured into the hills to collect bamboo when an improvised explosive device (IED), allegedly planted by Naxalites, detonated. The explosion killed him instantly.
Authorities believe the incident is linked to ongoing Naxalite activities in the area. Investigations are underway to confirm details and ensure the safety of locals frequenting the forests.
This tragic incident highlights the persistent threat posed by landmines and explosives in Naxalite-affected regions, endangering innocent civilians.
