Bagalakote: “There is a different kind of election strategy in each state of the country. The Gujarat model cannot be applied everywhere. Neither Prime Minister Narendra Modi nor Home Minister Amit Shah has ever said that the same model will be applied in Karnataka as well,” said former CM Jagadish Shettar.
Speaking to mediapersons he said, “There will be an experiment at each stage. Amit Shah and Modi will know everything and conduct elections in the backdrop of local arrangements in Gujarat. Surveys are conducted during elections in different states. There is a system for giving tickets naturally to those who have a chance to win. It is applicable not only in Karnataka, but everywhere, he noted.
“There will be no early elections in the State and it will be held in April-May not before that,” he said.
