Davangere: Commenting on the officers’ transfer in the state, former minister M P Renukacharya has made a serious allegation against Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and Public Welfare Department Minister H D Revanna that they both are involved in a ‘business’ of transferring the officers in the Hotel Taj West End.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, November 24, he questioned the duo regarding their frequent stay in Taj West End and the source of money to pay the bills.
Criticising both Kumaraswamy and Revanna, Renukacharya said that Taj West End was more like their residence as both were available there more than CM’s residence Krishna or Vidhan Soudha.
He said that Kumaraswamy and Revanna were running a ‘Tugalq Darbar.’
Renukacharya also took on CM Kumaraswamy saying that he and the ministers concerned had not visited the house of any farmer and assessed the situation, due to which, he alleged there was a rise in the number of farmers’ suicides.
He urged the government for an immediate measure on loan waiver and a resolution for the ongoing water crisis.
Renukacharya said that a prominent minister from the Congress party, Satish Jarkiholi himself had said that the government had not taken off yet.
