Bagalkot: An extortion case unfolded as a activist posed as a private channel reporter, blackmailing a BJP activist and private school teacher from Jamkhandi.
The blackmailer threatened to release an explicit video, coercing the victim to meet and pay money. The video featured explicit content, and the blackmailer impersonated the victim, using a Kannada song.
The culprit, identified as Bandenawaz Sarakawas, targeted the President of Jamkhandi BJP Nagar Mandal, who subsequently filed a complaint about the video’s dissemination.
