Bagalkot: Former MLA Babu Reddy Tungal passed away in the early hours of Friday, November 9.
He is said to have been severely ill, due to which he was admitted to Jamakhandi Sharada Hospital.
He was elected as an MLA from the Bilgi constituency of Bagalkot in the year 1985. He was also the editor of a weekly named “Kurukshetra”.
Babu Reddy Tungala was a great orator.
