Bagalkot: The Congress party workers have expressed their dislike over Revenue Minister R V Deshpande having lunch at the Bilagi constituency MLA from BJP, Murugesh Nirani’s residence, here on Saturday, January 12.
Deshpande who was on a visit to the drought-hit areas of Vijaypura was invited by Murugesh Nirani for lunch. Accepting the invite, Deshpande, along with Congress leaders H Y Meti and Ajaykumar Sarnaik had lunch with Nirani.
Condemning this, the Congress party workers and office bearers have taken to social media and said that he had no sense of informing his party about his arrival to the district and moreover he was having lunch with the BJP leaders.
President of Block Congress Hanumantha Kakhandagi has said that he would immediately request the KPCC president of the state to drop him from the cabinet.
