Featuring over 300 stalls, Annotsava offered a rich assortment of cuisines, including Punjabi, Gujarati, Andhra, Kerala, Kolhapuri, Rajasthani, and Mughlai, alongside seafood, Chinese, and local delicacies. Notably, there were over 100 vegetarian and 150 non-vegetarian stalls, reflecting the festival’s theme of unity in diversity.

Chandrakant, a social worker, praised the Rotary Club for its efficient organization and community-driven focus. He noted that despite their wealth, the club’s office bearers actively volunteer at the event, with proceeds going toward social welfare initiatives in Belagavi.

Rotary District Governor Sharad Pai revealed that this year’s Annotsava was extended from the usual 10 days to 12 due to popular demand. With daily attendance ranging from 16,000 to 22,000, the event also hosted cultural programs to raise awareness about social issues and provide entertainment.

Harsha, a college student, highlighted the festival’s ability to introduce Belagavi residents to the food culture of different Indian states, while visitor Prakash appreciated the extensive variety of cuisines.

The Rotary Club’s commitment to reinvesting Annotsava proceeds into social service continues to win community support, making the festival not just a culinary delight but a celebration of service and solidarity.
