Belagavi: In State too, BJP tickets will be given on the model of Gujarat this time, said Vijayapura MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal and added that only one person in a family will get a ticket.
Speaking to mediapersons, he said, “Newcomers should be given a chance on the lines of Gujarat. This time a lot of people will change with removal those who are accused of getting two or three tickets for the same family. Father-son or siblings will not get tickets. A family gets one ticket. There will be a break in the family politics in the BJP in State,” he said.
“Who wants Cabinet expansion, let Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai keep everything. Let him keep all the portfolios. There are 3 to 4 months left and during the time nothing can be developed. In the next elections, everyone wants to become a Minister, he noted.
