Belagavi: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said he is in touch with two BJP MLAs’ Ramesh Jarkiholi and K. S. Eshwarappa.
Speaking to mediaperson in Suvarna Vidhana Soudha that non-participation of both Jarkiholi and Eshwarappa does not imply a boycott. They are right to think that after being cleared of all allegations, they must return to the Council of Ministers. Their issue had been discussed during his recent visit to Delhi and they have also had a positive outlook. But some things cannot be told in public.
Reacting to KPCC President D. K. Shivakumar’s statement on the CBI raid, he said the matter is pending before the constitutionally created Central Bureau of Investigation and it will take necessary action. Shivakumar is aware of this, he added.
When asked about the halal cut, Bommai said there is no connection between the halal cut and the government.
