Belagavi: A 19-year-old boy was arrested by police officials on the charge of killing a minor girl for allegedly refusing his advances in Belagavi.
The accused had allegedly stabbed a class 10 student on August 1 while she was walking home from school in Haroorgeri town. He has been identified as Amir Jamadar, a school dropout.
The victim died on August 2 and soon after, the accused was arrested by police officials.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway. According to reports, the accused had been stalking her for the past few days and also tried to make advances but was turned down multiple times.
