Belagavi: The State Government has begun preparations for the 10-day Winter session of the state legislature, which will begin on December 19 at Suvarna Vidhana Soudha.
Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil held a meeting with city officials to discuss how to hold the meeting effectively. Patil urged officials from other departments to make arrangements for all the attendees’ food, transport, healthcare, and other needs.
He directed all the committees formed by the district administration for the smooth conduct of the session. He instructed officers to make sure that no guests encountered any difficulties during their stay in the City. The authorities should prioritise hygiene throughout the City in addition to guaranteeing a smooth flow of traffic, he said.
Police Commissioner Dr. M. B. Boralingaiah said that parking, vehicle movement, and security-related issues will be efficiently handled. City Corporation Commissioner Rudresh Ghali said private and government accommodations have already been inspected.
Several teams of doctors and other health officials will also be deployed throughout the City and ambulances will also be kept ready.
