In a significant boost to urban transport, North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) has introduced 25 brand-new TATA BS-6 city buses in Belagavi. These modern buses, manufactured by IMAC Bengaluru, have been officially registered at the Regional Transport Office (RTO) and will serve exclusively within the city.

The newly added buses, bearing registration numbers KA 22 F 2432 to 2446, have been incorporated into the Belagavi-2 Depot (City Depot) fleet. This follows the recent induction of 10 buses last week and an earlier trial run of three buses three months ago. With this latest addition, Belagavi now has 28 brand-new city buses, enhancing its public transport system.

The deployment of these buses aims to enhance connectivity, improve commuting comfort, and provide a dependable transit solution for the city’s residents.
