Dharwad: In a miracle of sorts a 16-year-old boy rose from death to stand stall on bier, while his body was being carried by villagers for performing last rites on the night of February 18.
Kumar Maradi , resident of Managandi village was declared dead when his respiratory system had stopped functioning and there was no heart or pulse beat merely few days after he was admitted to hospital in an unconscious state following multiple dog bites.
To everyone’s surprise, the boy stood stall on bier during the funeral procession. People could not believe the ‘miracle’ that took place right in front of their eyes. However relatives of the teenage boy rejoiced after they saw him ‘alive’.
He is now undergoing further treatment at an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Hubballi. Villagers,who were part of the final procession,are yet to recover from the shock!
