Dharawad Dist Admin opens 24×7 OPDs, fever clinics

Dharawad: The Dharwad District Administration has opened 24×7 Outpatient Departments (OPDs) and fever clinics in eight places in Hubballi-Dharwad, to combat the Covid – 19 infection positivity rate of 17.88 per cent.

Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil informed that the District hospital, KIMS, Railway Hospital, Chitaguppi Hospital, ESI Hospital, and Covid care centres in Hubballi Anjuman Hostel, Dr. B R Ambedkar Community Hall of Sangolli Rayanna Nagar, and Morarji Desai Residential School, Anchatgeri, have 24×7 OPDs.

The District Administration has established outpatient clinics and fever clinics so that suspected persons can receive rapid tests, treatment, and medications. In addition, the number of OPD counters in the civil hospital for non – Covid patients has been increased.
