Dharawad: The Congress, which ruled the country for 58 years, has promised to provide electricity and rice. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi asked, “If so, what was stopping the Congress, which was in power for so many years?”
Speaking to mediapersons here, he said, “The Congress has promised to give 10 kgs of rice to everyone. We are already giving 5 kgs. If we give 10 kgs, the Congress will promise to give 20 kgs. The Congress used to say ‘garibi hatao, roti kapada makaan’. Have they all been fulfilled during the Congress regime? If all of that was the case, why would they have promised to give 10 kgs of rice now? The Congress party is good at lying. Lying is there in Congress’ DNA”, he said.
The IIT – Dharawad building will be inaugurated on March 11. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will come to Dharawad and inaugurate it. At the same time, Modi will launch several works, he said.
