Dharwad: As the name of Vinay Kulkarni was finalised to be the Congress candidate for Dharawad Rural Constituency, Congress workers took to social media to respond to an open challenge raised by MLA Amrit Desai at a stage event.
Speaking about this social media war in Dharawad, MLA Amrit Desai said, “I still call him ‘Baro’. Whether they come or not, the Congress is dreaming of winning the Dharwad rural seat. Even if Siddaramaiah comes here and contests elections here, the BJP will win. Our team is ready for that. The BJP has done everything for people to lead a peaceful life for five years. People have seen what development has taken place,” he said.
