Dharwad: A cobra was roaming in the backyard of the house of Basavaraj Kattimani of Hireharakuni village in the taluk for the past several days. The family members who noticed the snake called a reptile expert to catch the snake.
The family members and villagers were shocked to see the cobra hiding under the ground along with more than 25 baby snakes. More than 25 cubs of the cobra emerged from under the ground, one after the other, as the reptile expert caught the mother cobra.
The villagers were surprised to find the snake living with its cubs and captured the video on their mobile phones. At present, reptile experts are trying to capture snakes and snake cubs and release them in the wild.
