Dharwad: CID DGP H C Kishre Chandra has advised the newly appointed civil police constables to follow the ideals of the oath taken after completing training, in all walks of their life.
Speaking after reviewing the spectacular display of passing-out parade of the second batch of new recruits, at Police Training School here on Wednesday, the DGP said the state’s police recruitment system had been lauded and followed by other states in the country. “Many states are following our system of police recruitment which is transparent.
The new personnel should work with honesty without coming under pressure or influence,” he advised.
“The day of passing-out parade in one’s life is worth remembering which is recalled even after retirement. No other department trains its personnel as the police department does. While the police job provides you job security, the maintenance of social security is your duty,” he said.
A total of 354 personnel from 12 contingents took part in the parade.
Police Training School Principal R A Parashetti, Karnataka State Police Training Centre DGP Premshankar Meena and other officials were present.
